ABOUT
Established in 1994, J.P Artspace began its illustrious journey as Pharos Gallery on 73rd Street and Madison Avenue Upper Eastside of Manhattan, strategically located near the Whitney Art Museum. This gallery exhibited a diverse array of international contemporary artists, along with Korean contemporary artists. In addition, J.P Artspace has consistently provided comprehensive art advisory services, spanning from Post-war and Modern Art to Contemporary Art.
The turn of the millennium saw the opening of their second gallery, Think Art Gallery, in 2001, nestled in the thriving Chelsea Art District.
In response to the flourishing Asian Art Market, J.P Artspace returned to its homeland, South Korea, in 2013. This homecoming was marked by the opening of two new galleries: W.K Gallery in the upscale Gangnam district of Seoul, and Madison Gallery in the suburban enclave of Bundang.
J.P Artspace also prides itself on offering tailored art advisory services and creating commissioned portrait paintings by Viann J. Shin. This blend of curatorial expertise and personalized artistry continues to solidify J.P Artspace's standing as a pivotal force in the international art world.
